The Captain's Blog
The Captain Description:
I love watching Rangers even though i am not a sadist, when its good i am a happy Bear, when its bad i am the grumpiest Bear on the planet, the mood of my Blog will be dependant on the results, it could be a long season.

We are organising another H.T.Bs field trip for the away game at MOTHERWELL on Saturday 31st March, anyone who is interested in going will shortly be able to register for the bus online, or let the relevent people know. Anyone who went on our last trip to Fir Park towards the end of last season will surely remember what a cracking day out it was before, during and after the game at the bowling club, even Archie turned up for an away game and even bought a drink, and who can forget Jimmy Murray (well we did actually, but we went back for him, eventually, sorry Jim). Hope to see you all there. W.A.T.P etc.

Theme:- bad Christmas jumpers.

Commitments so far: Ollie - pizza, Marion - After Eights, Jean - Square sausages in round rolls/round sausages in square rolls, Fozzie - 'fruit surprise', Gary K - cheese, Ally - I've forgotten, Rab D - I've forgotten, Rab M - 3000 sausage rolls and a squeeze box. Pigs in blankets & fortified grape juice from northern Portugal still required. And anything else you can think of that isn't sausage rolls.

And don't forget your bad Christmas jumper, forfeits will be in place.

ollie

Following the success of our last away trip to Dunfirmline (for those who turned up), we are looking to run a bus to the away game at St Johnstone on Saturday 14th January with a 12.30 kick off.

If anyone is interested in going to the match could you let us know in the not too distant future by booking using the online booking system (remember to log in first). Hopefully we can get enough interest so we can put on a bus.

On a sadder note, yesterday, PETER TODD a well respscted member of the H.T.Bs announced he would not be travelling to any more games, Peter was a regular fixture down the front of the bus, crossword puzzle in hand, and could always be relied upon to have a dvd of the last televised Rangers game combined with a bit of golf because he could'nt record the right channel. On behalf of all the regular travellers on the bus i would like to wish the old sod all the best for the future....Cheers Peter, all the best mate.

Following a good day out and a cracking result against Dundee Utd you would think there was no cause for complaint, WRONG, the state of the bus when we arrived in Leeds was, to say the least a disgrace, food all over the floor, (dodgy) drinks spilt over the seats, just what you would expect on a Celtic supporters bus, but this was a Rangers bus and we are cleaner than them.

John & Dave our regular drivers have a bad enough job driving us to Ibrox and back so the least we can do is keep the mess to a minimum so they have less to do when they eventualy get back to the depot, i would'nt mind betting that on Sunday morning the bus smelt worse than Davie Thomsons under crackers after a night on the vindaloo. So come on boys & girls lets try to keep the mess to a minimum, if the carrier bags are full give us shout and we can get some bin liners on the go, after all we dont want a wrist slapping from the bus company, they might bump up the fares.

Mon the Gers.
