So, the festive season is well and truly behind us, I hope you all came through it in one piece, as for the football, well the least said the better, our attacking of late is a bit like Davy Thompsons sex life, (lacking in the penetration department), still, on the positive side.....oh sorry there doesn't seem to be one if the press are to be believed.
After the financial success of last season I would have thought we would be in a position where we didn't need to sell our best players, and with no European distractions, the SPL would be a priority, but sadly it isn't to be, it just makes me wonder in which direction the club is going, maybe if the money that was made available in the summer had been spent better we may well have been sitting pretty at the top of the league, lets just hope we don't end up as a club who sign has beens who are looking for one last shot at the big time, can you imagine Dean Windass leading the line next season......stranger things have happened.
