A Happy New Year to all members and friends of Harrogate True Blues RSC. Let's hope 2012 brings more success to the Rangers.

A coach has been arranged for the away match against St Johnstone on Saturday 14 January. If you plan to go and haven't already registered online, or notified Andy or John, please get in touch as soon as possible.

The home matches against Aberdeen on 21 January and Hibs on 28 January will be busy so please book your seats in advance to avoid any disappointment.

Can I please remind ALL members and their guests about the need to maintain a high standard of behaviour on the coach - a few recent events have been very disappointing and the Office Bearers will be reviewing these matters and considering whether any action is necessary to avoid further problems.

Andy

We are approaching the Christmas and New Year period and there are a few forthcoming events to make you all aware of.

The coach for the Dunfermline home match on Saturday 3 December is filling up quickly so if you plan to go and haven't booked a seat yet, get your skates on. On Saturday 10 December, the Thornlie Boys are playing at a function in Darlington. Some of the HTB members in that area will be attending and can provide details for anyone else that wants to go along and have an enjoyable evening of "cultural" entertainment.

The home match against Inverness on Saturday 17 December will be our pre-Christmas Party coach featuring the eagerly anticipated Christmas quiz and large helpings of Christmas cheer. Finally, we play our city rivals at Castle Doom on Wednesday 28 December. Hopefully, we will be able to organise a coach to that match (depending on ticket availability).

Can all season ticket holders please keep their eyes peeled for an e-mail from Rangers offering a ticket for that game - the supporters club will buy the ticket if you are unable to go to the match.

Great to report that the supporters club is really thriving again this season with unprecedented demand to travel on the coach. We are full up for the Dundee Utd match on Saturday 5 November and it is likely that the forthcoming matches will be equally busy. Members are reminded to book their seats online as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment.

Good to see a number of members following the team away from home - we had a good turnout on the coach to Dunfermline a few weeks ago and there seems to be a lot interest in the away trip to St Johnstone in January. A few of us made the trip north to Aberdeen last weekend and enjoyed a really good victory. So sad to see Naismith being carried off and it reminded me so much of the terrible injury sustained by Ian Durrant on the same ground all those years ago. Sad too that one of our number was under the weather after one of Pittodrie's not so delicious "sheep burgers".

We also have a good few members making the trip to Germany at the end of the month for the friendly against Hamburg - I can see that being another tee-total trip (not!!).

Thanks as ever for your continued support - WATP.

The new season is now well under way and it is great to see Harrogate True Blues RSC in such a healthy state. The bus was full for the opening match against Hearts and is full again for the Aberdeen match on Sunday. There are a few items of news to bring to your attention.

The bus for the Celtic match on Sunday 18 September promises to be really busy and it is important that all those wishing to travel either register with the online booking facility or inform Andy or John as soon as possible. If we are over-subscribed, we may need to consider additional transport and, if there are any issues about priority for seats on the bus or match tickets, members will be accommodated ahead of non-members.

We are running a bus to the away match at Dunfermline on Saturday 24 September. If you wish to travel to that match and have not already registered with the online booking facility or let Andy or John know, please do so as soon as possible. We are due to play Hibs at home on Saturday 1 October (may be moved to Sunday 2 October if we progress in the Europa League). A few members are keen to organise a hospitality day at Ibrox for that match in Club Europe. The cost is £96 - it will be £80 if we can find a way to reclaim the VAT. If you are interested, please let Andy know as soon as possible.

For those that have season tickets, we will try and re-use your ticket that day as the hospitality package includes a match ticket. Thanks for your continued support.
