WE ARE THE PEOPLE

This is purely a message to that retarded referee who was in charge of the game last night against Sevilla (like he'll read it hahaha)......your a bloody idiot!!!! Just watched the highlights on Sky Sports News and even a fecking Celtic manager is saying it was a plain penalty!!!! If UEFA are trying to prove a point to Europe trying to remove the cancer that is diving and drama queen reactions, then they need to at least start by getting the bloody refs to make the right decisions .

My main point about all this is that if it wasnt a penalty, then the Ref should have booked Naismith for diving or going down too easy....fact!! Whats the point in that whole Eduardo thing if they are not going to at least do that when a ref thinks a player has gone down too easy? The free kick that lead to the first goal was weak at best, but the defending was terrible from the resulting free kick.

We fell apart after that first goal and the second worst decision of the night was Walter not making the subs after the first goal. Making the changes after the 3rd goal is useless, he may as well put some youth players on casue the game was finished by that point. Movement on the pitch was woeful. Several occasions I was screaming for someone to move and help the perosn on the ball. What hope is there when the most creative play on the pitch is our bloody centre back?  Hopefully we will bounce back on Sunday, we need to win....no 2 ways about it. Walter get it sorted!!

We are the People!!!  Keep the Faith

Well after the the first international break we remain at the top of the SPL after a solid start to the season. Special mention must be made to the Hearts game where I must admit I was thinking a draw was unrealistic considering recent games away against Hearts. Need to keep it up against Motherwell and get a good win.

Now in the summer lets face it, I think we all knew that this summer in terms of transfers would be a quite one. I for one though ain't too bothered. We have a good team that only seemed to get stronger last season. Yes we do have some problem areas in the team like the lack of cover in the centre back position in case Wier or Bougherra get injured. Plus I think we need to start looking for a long term replacment for Weir now. Left Wing has always been a problem area, but Rothen is a good signing in my opinion and will prove to be yet another piece of good buiness by Walter. Miller and Boyd is without question the best front pair in the SPL. They are lethal together casue they can play off each other so well.

Not bothered about Ferguson leaving at all. Great player and I will always remember him for the right reasons, but it was his time to go. Looking at it, some of the players who will be back from injury this season will feel like new signings. Thomson is without question a gem in our team. I think we missed him last year. He does all the dirty work and has to ability to create or do something to change a game, like for example the goal he scored against Celtic a couple of years ago and the great work he did against Barca at Ibrox. Our midfield will be much stronger once he's back to full fitness. Will be good to see Naismith back too. Hopefully he'll get more games this season and can show us all what he can do.

Finally, the Champions League group......how one earth did we fluke that group haha. Tough group don't get me wrong, but lets face it, couldn't we ask for a better group in terms of being able to qualify to the next round. They are good teams but at Ibrox we can get a result against them all and a good chance away too. Sevilla are quality but they aren't the same team they were a few years ago. We should be getting though and enjoy some post xmas champions league football and maybe get a showdown with an English team and try and restore a bit of Scottish pride :s

Good to have the football back!!! And a final word of thanks to David Murray. We have had an up and down ride with him over the many years he's run this club but he overall did a great job. Think the time was right to take a step back but I would like pass my own words of thanks to him for his services to the club. Enter a new era at Ibrox, lets make it Golden!!

We Are The People

Its been a strange few months. One week we will win 4-5 nill then the week after we stab ourselves in the foot and draw. Don't even remind me about St Mirren's sneaky win in October. However we seem to of got the ship steady again with good results against St Mirren and Aberdeen. 5 tough weeks face us. Starting tomorrow against Hearts and ending on the 27th against Celtic.

I don't even need to tell you the importance of these coming fixtures which include Hearts, Celtic, Dundee Utd and Hibs. 2 at Ibrox, 2 away. Plus what SHOULD be an easy game at Ibrox against Hamilton. All are must win games, no excuses. If we are being serious about getting the title back home, we must win all 5 games. Harder said than done but with the form that we have shown in the 5-0 caining of Killie etc. we do have the ability to win all 5.

The key to this coming month is the very thing that Celtic got blasted for this week when they lost to Alborg..........mental toughness. The players need to get their heads into gear and focus on a long battle ahead. Ignore any past blunders and just focus on the positive and the can-do attitude. With this, we over come the coming challenges. There are no more international breaks to invade our or anybody elses form, so this should no longer be a factor.

I find the loss of Thomson a real blow......I know everyone have different opinions of him but I think he is a major asset in our team and will do the dirty stuff i the midfield. Barry coming back is of course a positive however its not much help unless he finds that form that put him in the hall of fame.

Thank god though for the Boyd/Miller partnership. They just seem to go perfectly together. Last time I saw a strike team work so well together was the Novo/Prso duo and we all remember how effective they were the season we last won the league. Long may they score for fun.

Lets hope for a win tomorrow. The away games are the ones I'm most concerned about and Hearts will be tough to overcome. Also Dundee Utd always seem to do us over when we play them away. Good results this month and we're back into this. Win all the games and we're back to a point behind celtic (if no-one does us a favour)

We Are The People

PS. Watch out........Greig's back on the coach soon. Finally scrapped the Saturday shift that I couldn't get rid of. Only took it in the first place to stop me from being bored during the pre-season

Well the end of the transfer window brought Man Utd a good Spurs striker and oh yeh just the small matter of there city rivals Man City signing Robinho......ROBINHO!!!!!! How on gods earth? Anywho enough about the English and their wasted fortunes. The transfer window was both a good and a bad on for us.

I know we were all shell shocked at the departure of fans favourate Filip Sebo, but it was for the best I'm sure. Saying bye to King Carlos Cueller was a hard one to take too but we managed to pull through as we did when we lost Hutton. But signings such as Mendes, Bougherra, Lafferty and Edu are promising to say the least.

While I was in Florida the other week I asked some American 'Soccer' supporters what Edu was like and they said he was a very good and talented player. He was even on the MLS 2009 Calander next to a certain David Beckham. I look forward to seeing him play.

Mendes, well he's proven himself in the few games he's already played for us. I mean I must have watched his goal against celtic a hundred times already. From every angle it looks amazing. Not the best goal ever scored I know but its just the fact it was against Celtic.  Passes the ball well, continously brings the ball forward (which we've wanted for so long in a player), skillful and can hit a hell of a shot.

As for Bougherra and Lafferty the jury's still out for them but I do believe they will prove good signings for us. I would have liked to see Bougherra play next to Cueller but he seems get on with Weir quite well. Lafferty has shown that he has the potential to be a very good player for us and I believe he will be.

As for the pain in my arse Khenny Miller he has been promoted to having his name spelt right again for scoring against Celtic. Kenny Miller also get bouns points for scoring from Boart (Boruc) mistake so Miller I can now forgive you and your now on a level playing field as the other new signings.

Im happy with the business in the tranfer market this summer, low point being Sebo....I mean Cueller leaving. Highs Mendes, Davis and most of the summer signings. And Sebo......I mean Cousin leaving (Know hes good when he wants to be but he just doesnt want to be often enough). I'm even warming to Kenny Miller, smack him on the back of the hand for being a naughty boy and give him a good wash and he'll be fine, at the end of the day we don't where he's been while he was in the other side of Glasgow......

WE ARE THE PEOPLE!!!!

PS. Forever will I miss the legend that was Filip Sebo. Bye big man, you managed to save the Ibrox atmosphere in the PLG months all by yourself. Well done sir, well done.

SEEEEEEEEEEBOOOOOOOO! Sebo's on we're taking the piss! Sebo take the piss, Sebo Sebo take the piss! LEGEND!!!
