A short description about your blog

As you may have seen on follow follow last Thursday, zsuits are promoting their Zsuits (www.zsuits.com), at a discount, to Rangers fans. They are Glasgow based, and both Rangers fans, and want to get Ibrox looking really bright and atmospheric for the opening game of the season.

So forget the vuvu-whats-its, the only craze that counts this summer is Zsuits! Head to toe in spandex you'll be set for the game as well as stag do's, festivals, clubbing, sporting events, birthdays, first dates, job interviews, weddings, funerals and bar mitzvahs. Stand out from the hordes and show your true blue colours for Flag Day at the Brox on the 14th of August. Just go to www.zsuits.com and type "justthe53" for a 10% discount exclusive to Rangers fans.

Harrogate True Blues proposes to organise a Club outing to Glasgow, to take in a trip known as the Founders Trail. This is a three hour trip around Glasgow, visiting various sites integral to the foundation of Rangers Football Club, followed up by an hour tour round Ibrox Stadium.

The Founders Trail normally sets off around 12.00 pm on a Saturday or Sunday, and should be finished by 4.30 p.m. Maybe slightly later if we manage to build in a visit to Murray Park as well.

This means that transport to Glasgow would have to leave Leeds around 6.30-7.00 am, picking up at the usual places on the way up, leaving Glasgow straight after the Trail has finished to head back south.

Can all those that are definitely interested please contact Gary King (garyprking@hotmail.com) with dates that you can or can't make over June and July? If you have any friends or colleagues that would also be interested, please invite them along - the more the merrier.

Once we have feedback from the vast bulk of the membership, dates will be discussed with the organisers of the Founders Trail and a date selected for our trip."

Two Harrogate True Blues RSC members - Stevie Wood and Graham Bishop (Bish) - are on their way to Afghanistan this week to serve our country. The very best wishes of all the members and friends of our supporters club go with them. We are all unstinting in our support for our Forces personnel and I know Stevie and Bish and all their colleagues really appreciate it.

I'm sure they will come across fellow Bluenoses on their tour of duty and will sing the praises of our supporters club.

I understand they will have e-mail and internet access so let's ensure we keep the messages of support going throughout the next 6 months. Hopefully, we'll be relaying stories of great results and more silverware for the Teddy Bears.

We all look forward to welcoming them back around October time.

ALL THE BEST GUYS - SEE YOU SOON!

Congratulations to Andy Kerr on his recent temporary appointment to the post, President of the Rangers Supporters Assembly.  This was as a result of Jim Templeton resigning his position.  Details of which was covered in the Scottish Press.  Andy is covering until the post is filled formally by election. Here's hoping it will become a permanent position for Andy.

Everyone knows how much effort Andy puts into our club. He works tirelessly to ensure our members have match tickets and on one occasion he even mistakenly sold his own Old Firm ticket minutes before kickoff.    His dedication to Rangers Football Club is also second to none.  We could not ask for a better Chairman for our club and too for the President for the Assembly.

The Rangers Supporters Assembly, is an independent body, representing all Rangers fans. The Committee consists of elected delegates.

Well done Andy and fingers crossed.

PS Excuse the punctuation. In Bratislava and have a daft Russian keyboard.
